Devival

Devivals are the bare-fisted worship or many Short Duration Personal Saviours (individual beers, beams of light, inanimate objects, pagan/norse/jesuit/&c. deities, JHVH-1 and so on) that feature yelling, swearing, impromptu Muzik of the Doktorband wariety and Human Fights.

Devivals are the worship of "Bob" in the purest form, Slacking Off. One goes to where nothing happens, where nothing is important, and does nothing of importance. All importance bestowed ex post facto is completely unnoticed by the participants at the time. Any attempts to foist importance upon certain events are at the time of happening ("planning") are bound to fail. Importance is best when noticed later, maybe even not at all, but "Bob" will know, and when you board those saucers you'll know why He's smiling. Past devivals have included such slack worship as shotgunning Orange Whips until the brain sees "Bob", Goat Skull Burning/Smashing, Hammer Appreciation Moment, Excremeditation in Open Sky Facilities, Nental Ife Time Wasting workshops, death marches and Concerts of atonal, terrifying music.
