It's a bit shit isn't it. When will the violence end. Did you hear that the Iraqi parliament is likely to set a deadline for US withdrawl?

If the Iraqis set the deadline then it's a show of strength that is sorely missed. Something of a concern also is Turkeys outright threats of incursion into the Kurdish controlled North. Apparently the Kurds are supporting "terrorists" (I'm not sure what they did to become terrorists, it's a bit of a misused label at the best of times) who are causing some shit for the Turks, they've kinda wanted a free Kurdistan for a while now but with the Kurdish controlled North of Iraq they pretty much have it and hence there's no need to be attacking Turkey for land as far as I see. Unfortunately I don't see very well through the mist of language/culture/information and hence don't know what complicating factors are at play, all I know is that if Turkey invades the stable north then there's gonna be more mondays in every week for Iraq
