Mindcloud magazine
I had this idea today.
Soon I'll be looking to produce a prototype of a 'zine...comprised of an eclectic mix of articles from the website. The purpose of this is to reach people who don't have access to a computer all the goddamned time. Culture distribution and creative empowerment are fine, but it means jack if we can't reach the masses of humans who have no computer or internets.
The Mindcloud publication could also contain instructions on where to find free internets, or how to build useful equipment, free of cost. For instance, an article about building wireless antennas out of Pringles cans to boost wireless network range...this would enable several households to share an internet connection, driving the costs down and thus making the medium more accessible. Maybe not the best example, but a portion of the content in the magazine could generally be about getting most stuff for free or cheap.
The 'zine would also take contributions from the readers. It would of course, somehow, be free of cost as well.
Let me know what you think about this, or if you want to work on it with me.

Update
There is a mild slab of content on this site now. Enough for a couple of mild 'zines at least. Perhaps I will build a prototype this week.
