[edit] Pauline History of Pauline in Politics
[edit] Views
[edit] Pauline on Asian people
Pauline, at various points in her political career, has espoused the need to stop the "Asian Invasion". Usually this is said in sequence with the statement "Australia is in danger of being swamped with Asians".
Supporters of Pauline Hanson seem to assume this is a bad thing, whilst more liberal thinking Australians note that there would be a whole lot more hot Asian girls to go around.
[edit] Pauline on Muslims
Subsequent to her well thought-out policies on asian immigration, Pauline has recently been looking for a new platform for election. In an apparent stunt to prove she what the word moratorium means, Pauline has recently called for a "moratorium" on Muslims immigrating to Australia.
[edit] Women
Pauline also seems to know more about the "oppression" facing Muslim women than Muslim women, stating:
"I think that if Muslim women realise how they have been treated I probably would get a lot of support (from them)"
[edit] Female Circumcision
In the same interview Pauline goes on to claim that women in Australia are subject to genital mutilation (though no evidence is given for this grotesque and illegal activity EVER occurring in Australia). She also espouses the belief that female genital mutilation is advocated by the Islam (it's not) and that there is a connection between Islamic beliefs and such mutilation. Perhaps she should read what UNICEF has to say in their 2005 statistical exploration of the practice where it states:
"looking at religion independently, it is not possible to establish a general association with FGM/C status"[[1]
[edit] Pauline on Aboriginal Australians
Pauline called for the abolition of a corrupt organisation failing to defend Aboriginal Australian children's human rights and which just happened to be led by a serial rapist:
"Don't just say I'm simplistic and I don't know what I'm talking about. They said the same about the Aboriginal issue but the prime minister actually abolished ATSIC (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission) and that was in my maiden speech." Pauline
Congratulations Pauline, you get a barnstar
[edit] Pauline on Australians
Pauline has difficulty even pronouncing 'Australian', preferring the cut-down, value-meal pronunciation 'Austrayan' instead.
[edit] Pauline and Fast Food
Pauline has a fast friendship with the food sector. Among her most famous culinary delights are
- fish - battered or crumbed
- chips
- chiko rolls
and more recently
- a fine range of products at Donut King
Fine goods conspicuously absent from the menu:
- Spring rolls
- Dim Sims
- Samosas
- Anything considered "ethnic"
Yumalicious, Pauline!
[edit] Electoral Strategy
From the outset Pauline's target market has always been implied to be pasty skinned semi-literate Australians who are afraid of change. Now she's stating that strategy explicitly:
"They are very frightened their culture and way of life is being taken away from them,"[2]
[edit] Official website
Pauline's official "friends of Islam" website can be found here. Judging from the poor construction of the website I would say she chose not to contract the work out to a foreign company.
Laughs galore can be found in this well researched public statement.
The aforementioned public statement claims that immigration causes:
- "Culural dilution"
- The current high cost of real estate
- The current drought and subsequent water shortage
- Increased Air, River and Ocean pollution
- Global warming through higher CO2 emissions
- "Land degradation" (definition unknown)
- increased use of "natural resources" (definition unknown)
- Stretching health, education and public services such as public transport
- Lower wages for "traditional" Australians
Pauline gave a highly detailed counterclaim to the point made by reasonable Australians that immigration lessens the skills/labour shortage, grow the economy and offset our aging population with this stunningly detailed rebuttal:
"all of these arguments for high immigration have been discredited at some point or another." (No details given)
Pauline also seem to consider that allowing immigration is some sort of crime:
"The ALP is also guilty of past mass immigration"
Pauline must have also studied economics at an institution far more advanced than mine, where I've been learning run of the mill keynesian economics as she makes a highly scientific appeal to common sense
"Common sense will tell anyone that it takes a number of migrants to create one job"
Unfortunately for Pauline, common sense all too often means being completely fucking stupid and accepting what other people tell you or want you to believe.
[edit] Support for the moratorium on Muslim immigration
A televion survey reportedly shows that 30,514 Australians agree with her views enough to call in and register whilst only 11,641 called in against it. Political analysts agree that the logical conclusion of this survey is that at least 42,155 Australians are Fucking Retarded. It's common knowledge that these phone-in polls lend themselves to horrible outcome-skewing by a handful of absolute nutcases who get right into that kind of thing. As soon as the TV presenter lazily spits out the syllables that indicate the opening of the poll, these rubes immediately launch into several hours of foaming-at-the-mouth fun, frantically mashing their keypads as if the fate of the Universe hinges on them 'putting in a word' for their decayed synaptic pathways. It may then seem a bit strange to claim that 'there are at least 42,155 Australians who are Fucking Retarded', but these gibbering lunatics who actually ring the phone polls act as fairly representative representatives for the even dumber fucks who, while replete with opinion, lack the mental giblets to operate a telephone.
