Skins

I've been doing some work on some new skins(themes) for mindcloud.org. Most of this is basic hackery and blundering, and as a result, the skins aren't all that fantastic...

NOTICE: If you are skilled in web design/art and are interested in helping to turn this site
into a thing of beauty, then there is plenty of stuff you can do, especially in crafting great
logos and interfaces for this site. Please email tristan@mindcloud.org if you
want to contribute in this way...

So far there are three here you can test out:

• Mars (hexagons! May be a little extreme...)

• ProtoMars (slightly revised from ProtoMindcloud version of Mars skin)

• Figure One, combining atomic warfare with protest (background image sourced from here.)

To choose, go to your preferences and select one of them.

The skins are very basic modifications of the Monobook skin.

Note:more skins for mindcloud.org will be available here soon!

I will put a guide here on how to make your own, quite soon...for now, just test them and put some comments somewhere around the wiki.

Maybe the ones that don't have basic stuff like ease of access to editing tabs etc should be take out till they are good?

Most of the skins are default skins that come with the software. Some of those are incredibly basic, but all of the necessary features are there, somewhere. I could remove them, but maybe some humans get into that sort of thing.

. I just find that template lolable. I'll have a look at them again. Some are just more dificult to navigate, so it's hard to find which to use for best functionality, amongst the bland ones, esp for newbies, or über-Fops like myself. I think we should just have a few very good ones, till we have more wikid ones. --Leo Auri
