What would you say if you had the authority to inflict the greatest possible suffering with the least number of words?
Well, what would you say?
One might say something along the lines of what these fellows say;

Jesus H. Christ! These people make me sick. It's all fine for the cardinals, they're not getting AIDS because very few boys under 12 carry the disease, but to say that condoms are permeable? with zero supporting evidence and every single test ever made to show they're not? people need to be beaten with the scientific method until they stop believing every little piece of information just because it comes from some kind of authority. The vatican should be charged with criminal misconduct, they're directly endangering the lives of thousands of people by keeping them ignorant. These people think that the greater good is achieved; they get AIDS but they have a better chance of going to heaven. I would hazard that the only reason these aren't considered crimes against humanity is because the Vatican has not directly told people to have unprotected sex with AIDS infected people, they're happily sitting in a gray area where doing so is a logical extension of their policy but they don't state it directly. Although the nun telling the man not to use condoms with his wife is not in the gray area anymore, she'd get off criminal charges because she's too stupid to know she's wrong. I've said it before; Religion hurts people.

It's utterly disgusting isn't it. How can anyone have any respect for this institution when their leaders say shit like that. People will die because whose few words. And it's all in the name of god.
I had an interesting thought. When AIDS first hit the streets in the 80's fundamentalist preachers praised it as "god's cure for homosexuality", but it now seems it was intended as God's cure for fundamentalist interpretations of the bible being applied to a period in human history for which it is entirely unsuitable, or to be succinct: God's cure for fundamentalism.
