You take a wrong turn on the main street and find yourself in a dark alleyway, leading to God knows where. You hear a noise behind you - turning, you see a hulking fellow in a trench coat lumbering towards you, his overhanging brow and square, thuggish jaw leaving you in no doubt that you're in for a mugging. You run for it, but just before you reach the relative safety of the lit street at the end of the alley, you lose your footing in a pile of vomit and go down like a sack of shit. The last thing you see is the heel of a size 14 boot moving surprisingly quickly towards your eyes.
